For the 2nd year Gill is clothing partner of the St-Barth Cata Cup

This week 120 amateur and professional sailors will take part in the eight edition of the international St-Barth Cata Cup, which runs from the 18th to the 22nd of November. As a showcase for the F18 Class, competitors will be racing catamarans across the crystal clear waters around the island of Saint-Barthélemy.
For the second year running we’re proud to be a clothing partner for the regatta. We’ll be supplying all racers with bespoke 50+ UV rash vests to help protect them from the strong Caribbean sun.
The St-Barth Cata Cup originally started in the early 1990s, but was re-launched in 2008 by Vincent ordil, Jeff Ledee and Thierry Linares. Now the event brings together competitors from all across the globe, and includes a mixture of world champions to local residents. The St-Barth Cata Cup is seen as a flagship of the F18 Class, helping to ensure continued interest in the sport.
Last year’s event was won by Morgan Lagravière and Arnaud Jarlegan, who in the final race managed to beat the previous year’s champions. The final standings last year were:
1- FRA 124 (Architectonik) Morgan Lagravière and Arnaud Jarlegan
2- AUS (ODP1) Franck Cammas and Matthieu Vandame
3- 17 (Nikki Beach) Billy Besson and Marie Riou
4- USA 80 (St Barth Properties) John Casey and Colin Page
5- FRA 901 (Diamond Genesis) Emmanuel Boulogne and Vincent Boulogne
