Patrick Demesmaeker and Olivier Gagliani win the 8th St-Barth Cata Cup

Last weekend a mix of amateur and professional F18 racers, each wearing Gill bespoke rash vests, took to the clear waters of Saint-Barthélemy for the St-Barth Cata Cup. And the race, which saw its 8th edition, finished in dramatic fashion. Gill UV rash vests The French crew, Orion Martin and Charles Gaté, made a strong start to the event, where they won the first three races and took the St-Barth Assurances/Allianz prize. However, it was the Belgian duo, Patrick Demesmaeker and Olivier Gagliani, who snatched top position from Martin and Gaté in a thrilling end to day four, where the Belgians managed to maintain a very small margin to win in the overall rankings. After the fourth day of racing, Olivier Gagliani said: “After 7 editions here, the time was right. We are very happy!
